How many flights daily?
My question. Does anybody know how flights Ryanair provide on an average day?

Re: How many flights daily?
Got about 200 planes, and they do approx 6 flights a day, so 1200 MAX flights. But then it all depends if aircraft are in maintenance etc.

Re: How many flights daily?
Hi guys !
FR fleet, november 2009 : 210 Boeing 737-800's
They operate about 1400 daily flights across Europe...( this can be read on the website, but i don t remember exactly where
you will find it...).
Every plane operates 6 or 8 flights on a daily basis..., depending on the sector length. Some of them will only do 4, while others will do 10.
As you can guess, some of them go TECH quite frequently ( maintenance ).

Re: How many flights daily?
The last figures available at the moment are for september 2009 :
http://www.ryanair.com/en/investor/traffic-figures
6.119.510 passengers, load factor 85 %.
The total number of seats available in september is given by :
(6.119.510/85) x 100 = 7.199.424
Given that there are 189 seats/aircraft, the number of sectors flown is :
7.199.424/189 = 38.092
Given that there are 30 days in september, the number of sectors flown per day is on average :
38.092/30 = 1270

Re: How many flights daily?
I had done the maths as well...:-) But we have to add some extra flights ( Position flights )
and peak days...
I'd rather say : roughly 1250 - 1400 daily services!

The information below is for Arrival times of flights in the past two hours and the current estimate of Arrival times for the next four hours. Passengers should always check-in two hours before the scheduled departure time for their flights, as it should not be assumed that an early or late arrival will affect the scheduled departure time of their outbound flight.
- Check-in opens 2 hours before scheduled departure time.
- Check-in closes 40 minutes before scheduled departure time.

I check this link everyday :-) That's a good way to learn about the typical FR operations procedures ( a/c changes, technical fauls, weather delays, etc )
Since i'm a brand new Airline Dispatcher, i'm really interested in this...:-)

Re: How many flights daily?
The current Ruinair inflight magazine on page 133 says that in October 2009 there were 37,000 flights, so with 31 days in Oct, thats 1,193 flights per day ... of course thats in the quiet winter period when some of their aircraft are parked up for the winter
