Irish travel tax
Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Cityjet are united in their opposition to the 10 euros travel tax for all passengers flying out of Irish airports to destinations more than 300 km from Dublin:

I think that the most amusing argument is given by the spokesperson for the Irish Department of Finance :
"In relation to the air travel tax's alleged adverse impact on tourism, it should also be noted that if the tax is discouraging tourists coming to Ireland, then on the reverse side it must be accepted that it is also discouraging Irish people taking holidays abroad," .
