Price action Ryanair for the next days!

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (24th Mar) announced its first routes from Chania (second largest city on the Greek island of Crete) to Frankfurt Hahn and Milan Bergamo from May 2011 which will deliver 60,000 passengers p.a. and create up to 60 local jobs in Crete.

Ryanair celebrated its first Crete route by launching a 1 million €7 seat sale for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in late April and early May which are available for booking until midnight Monday (28th Mar). OK, it's in July, high season.
But nevertheless ...
Is not this the first time a "price action" is at that level ?

Advertised price action is at 9,99 euros today, by if one look for specific flights, one can find quite a few bargains at 6 and 9 euros even in september next, and october ...

Since the RYR site update i find it much slower to find the bargains... searching day by day makes me tired

To meet their 1 June deadline for showing the full price including all non-optional charges FR seem to have done a bit of "over simplification". It is no longer possible to see at a glance which days a route operates and has available seats. All days just say "low fares available" even if the route doesn't fly on that day.


Just change the country to, say, Croatia(English), Czechia(English) or Finland(English), you've got the old system running (and days showing). Thus, it's a very primitive interface overlay, nothing else.

The "new" system seems to be only on the UK site - at all events, not on the Irish one, nor on the Belgian, German, Spanish, French, ... sites.

This was imposed on "the worlds favourite airline" by the U.K. authorities , "Trading Standards" or some such regulatory body, Ryanair have to show a final price.

As of now, the price action is for flights in oct-nov-dec '11 (and some very good deals can be found).
Impatiently awaiting the price action for January 2012, hopefully soon to be offered : there usually are real bargains to be had for flights in January (after the Christmas holidays), February, March and until the Easter holidays - Easter sunday being on 8th april '12.

As of today, price action for November-January ! (from 9 euros one way).

A price action is in progress, this time it's from 9,99 euros or pounds one way (save for Ireland, where it's always more expensive : 14,99 euros).
But if you look carefully, you can find seats cheaper still : I have just booked flights to and from Italy in mid-december at 7 euros each !

(by the way, for one of them, I booked the "only one seat left at that fare", I returned to check later and it was true : the next customer would have had to pay some 10 euros more).

Thought te price action says 9.99 lots of single flight for €4,- all-in available now! Has been a long time ago that you could book a return flight for less then €10,- :-D

May I ask you champs, when is the best time to book a flight for the Easter holidays (outbound flight on 6-April-12) ? Is it better to book asap, or is there likely to be a price action for that time, if so when ?

as this is a usefull get away weekend with a lot of people travelling, it's a good idea to book asp. their will no 9,99€ fares on thees days probably (nearly very shure about this)! but if you think that the actual price is very, very high, you might wait a couple of weeks. but their is no garantie for such dates, that the price will go down.

Current offer is from 12 euros in March and April, but there are still some flights priced at 7 euros in March : I just bought myself a Charleroi-Pisa return for 14 euros.
(and HollandRyanair a nice Eindhoven-Stansted return at the same price !)

charleroi-budapest 4,50€ but the rest is very expensive

Yeah good prices Eindhoven-Alghero and Eindhoven-Stockholm 14 return as well, but no dayreturns possible. Think I still gonna do a daytrip to Stansted, just to check the airport and go back or something like that

Not one of these, but a €36,- (2x 17.99) Eindhoven-Ibiza return for me A lot of 17.99 all-in fares are available. Perfect price for me
