Ryanair does have only 1 type aircraft: The Boeing 737-800.

Why did Ryanair not choose for the Airbus A320? Easyjet did it! Boeings are made in the US, Airbus in Europe.

I thought the 737-800 where written off.

From wikipedia:
¨The 737-200 operated by the company through the 1990s and up to 2005¨.

¨Boeing 737-200 (no longer in service with Ryanair)¨

Ryanair started with a Bandeirante (EMB-110P1) and they flew with the following types;

Convair 580 (leased)
HS.748 (2x)
ATR-42-300
BAC 1-11
Boeing 737-200
Boeing 737-800

They only have Boeing 737-8AS in active service (most of them equiped with winglets)

Soon a complete list with every Ryanair aircraft ever flown. If you have info send it to: grad@ryanairfanclub.com

Some Ryanair Boeing 737-800 will leave the fleet soon:

EI-CSA
EI-CSB
EI-CSC
EI-CSD
EI-CSF
EI-CSG
EI-CSH
EI-CSI
EI-CSJ
EI-CSM
EI-CSN

Allready gone from this list:
EI-CSA 12/10 to Varig as PR-VBA
EI-CSB 30/10 to Varig as PR-VBB
EI-CSE 03/10 to Varig as PR-VBE

And EI-CSC 26/10 (the Cable and Wireless plane)

anybody any updates about these aircraft?

Sad to see them go, I flew the EI-CSF and the EI-CSC
