Over 189 ?
When checking on line, I have been surprised to see these lines during the process, new to me :
When you check-in online if you are issued a sequence number of 190 or above (located at the top right of the boarding pass). Please go to the airport check-in desk on arrival at the airport. Airport check-in desks open 3 hours prior to departure and close 60 minutes prior
What does it mean ?
Bearing in mind that there are only 189 seats in a B737-800 ....
Does Ryanair now do some overbooking ?
Or is it just a consequence of the recent Icelandic disturbances and not permanent ?

A lot of the flights have been overbooked due to that damn Volcano! So you will be on 'standby' until the very last minute when you are confirmed onto that flight I guess

Re: Over 189 ?
I can confirm that due to the volcanic ash activity Ryanair have been overbooking flights... However on many of my flights we have been booked at 250+ but have actually only carried approx 140 as passengers were either unable to make their return legs after missing their initial journey, were accommodated on other flights, or decided to find other means of transport.
