Memmingen base

I heard that Memmingen will be a base from october after they widened the runway. They are also considering to put a ILS CAT3 there. It should have been a base before the summer but they have to finish the work with the runway first. This is according to the ground staff working there.

Well, many stories like this one appeared last months/years. Some of them came true, some of them have not.
One way or another Memmingen seems to be an airport which want to have strong position in Low Cost Companies and unless small base in near future wouldn't be any surprise.
