So, would you like to see those magnificent Ryanair 737s in a different livery?

Ryanair's livery Empty Ryanair's livery

Post by EchoVictorOscar Thu 3 Feb 2011 - 20:00

So, I was browsing the web yesterday and came across a nice little site. It's sort of Airliners.net-esque, but with images that have been Photoshopped - http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/

Anyway, I searched 'Ryanair' and lots of interesting photos came up. http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/search/search.php?airline=Ryanair

Along with the common ones (Ryanair colours on 747s, A320s, etc.), some individuals have also made their own adaptations of the Ryanair livery. My personal favourite is the one below. The colours on the engine are a little off and the writing is the 'old font'. But I still really like it.

So it got me thinking, is it about time we had a change of livery? There's plenty of people out there who find the RYR livery boring, but I personally love the current colours. Having said that, I'm always open to change and I particularly like the design of the tail in the above picture.

So what do you think? Don't forget to vote in the poll above. Smile

I like the original livery - classic and very easy to spot at any airport.
A new livery ? maybe it is time to move on and update the original colours, a overhaul to the interior as well as the exterior, a fresh new look cannot do any harm.

i like the livery on the picture above, although the engine pod colour scheme is not very good - some blue should be added ?
The inside is at present a bit too brightly colored, in my view : the blue and yellow should be lighter.

I don't really care what colour the plane has (well let's make an exception for pink). The colours of the picture are nice, but the current livery is nice as well. But changing colours costs money, and I don't think MOL is willing to pay Smile

I think a new livery should be introduced when a new aircraft type enters the fleets. (hopefully the 737`s will be replaced by some new NEO`s Wink )
