infant car seat
This may be an *infant* question, but here it is.
I need to take a baby car seat with me and I paid the extra fee.
I was wondering how the car seat should be packed, as it is made of 2 pieces. Can I use a bag, or do I need to wrap it in plastic or what else?
Thanks for your help.

Re: infant car seat
Considering that it will go in the hold pack it the way you think it's best. I'm sure you've seen how baggage handlers toss the bags when they load them so maybe just plastic is not enough.

Re: infant car seat
I also thought to pack somehow the seat, but my concern is if ryanair will accept the seat as a pack.
And another issue is that I have a second seat, smaller. Can it go together with the large one (total weight lower than 20 kg) or do I need to pay an additional fee?

Re: infant car seat
My experience may help some one else. I wrapped the car seat in a duvet and packed it in a soft bag, tighted with a suitcase belt. At the desk (Hahn) they hardly checked the content of the bag. All was ok.
