How long until the flight date can I add bags to a booking?

Hello all,
I haven't found any information on the Ryanair web site as to how long it is possible to add bags to an existing booking.
Can I add bags as late as just before check in?

If you search on the website using 'checked baggage' you find this:

After the booking is made checked baggage can be added to a reservation via the Manage My Booking facility up to 4 hours before the scheduled flight departure time

I think it is wise to do the online chek-in after changing your baggage.
