Re: A day in Brussels
Interesting to see that the flights MAN/CRL may be cheaper than the flights MAN/Tours. I just booked a flight TUF/MAN/TUF for €20 return for the end of May and they're almost all at the same price. I think this route will close soon

Re: A day in Brussels
Brussels is not really my sort of destination, not even a day trip. Although I have passed through it on my way to amsterdam. Also the 22 EUR shuttle bus makes the overall cheap fare seem expensive.
Manchester have some great 13.99 one way daily fares to Faro in April, and 9.99 fares to budapest and ibiza in april.
I've just returned from budapest last week, the weakness of the HUF makes purchasing beer/food/hotels extremely affordable (350HUF to the £1) which has weakend since my last visit. The weather was also very warm and dry which was less than expected. Overall a fantastic destination for a cheap break and more than half the fare of jet2.
Ibiza next week, faro next month and budapest again in May.
Happy contrails.

Ibiza TBH is my preferred choice due to it's small size, smaller airport and better beaches/bars. Coincidently I'll be returning there exactly 1 year after my 1st visit, and had paid last year the same fare as this year (£30 return).
You'll no doubt depending on the weather get some decent sun at this time of year, I caught sunburn last year in ibiza and remember serious swelling.
Seems a long time ago given that I had flown another 18 return flights after that date, my mind is absolutely scrambled at the places I have visited since then. Did italy 5 times in just 2 months.
I've also booked a one night to corfu (11-12th April) outbound EMA inbound LBA for £20.74 return. LBA and EMA have once weekly flights which don't suit my work schedule, and there are only 4 airports served by ryanair which fly to corfu, stansted being the third and prestwick being the fourth.

22 euros is the return fare. Not cheap, I agree. But still much cheaper than, for instance, the Stansted Express (29,50 pounds, nearly 35 euros).

Price go down to 5 euro and I booked a day return Charleroi - Manchester for 2 persons at wednesday 9 may.
The transport to and from the airport and the parking is more expensive but Ryanflyer, many thanks for the idea, even I'll use it in the other direction.

You can buy a rail ticket at arrivals that is a set price to travel anywhere in Belgium to/form Charleroi airport. They are sold as singles and include the local bus to Charleroi train station so you buy two single tickets to say Brussels or maybe Bruges for your day trip. I think they were around €8 each a few years back. They can bought at the arrivals hall.
