Spanish strike to affect Ryanair flights 29/03/2012

Hi, I am wondering can anyone help me. I am travelling from Santander to Dublin next Thursday (luggage free) at 5pm. Does anyone know if my flight will be cancelled because of the general strike scheduled here for that day.

Are you sure that the strike is cancelled, because i didn't find any information about it..? I really need to get some information because no one seems to know anything or they do not want to tell.. Thank you!!

Its the general strike, not an airport strike? The general strike in Spain is next Thursday and it hasn't been cancelled?

Simply contact the airline if you have any worries regarding the same.

I'm stuck in Ibiza

I left Manchester knowing about a possible strike and flight disruptions through their news headline. But only received news about FR2627 being cancelled today. Fortunately whilst rushing out of the hotel looking for a internet cafe and to prevent overbooking of available seats; I found the only uk bound flight leaving Ibiza on Thursday (Birmingham) and hastily transferred it via their phone line.

I have work commitments in Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, and so a Saturday flight would only annoy my manager and lead to a possible disciplinary hearing.

Anyway nothing to worry about, and will enjoy bumping into my Manchester passengers who shouldof checked their e-mail's!! 2 nights for them free accommodation.

Unless you've been sent a cancellation E-mail like me, then there is nothing to worry about. It's odd that only a selective number of flights are affected. Maybe due to a restrictive number of strikes or military take over as someone has to man the airspace right?
