Stockholm/Skavsta - Porto

Hi all!

This will be my first post on this brilliant forum! First of all I wanna thank all of you guys who created Ryanair fanclub/forum.

Now to my question! When I look at the route-map it seems like FR will no longer fly from Stockholm/Skavsta - Porto...does anyone know anything about this...?

That is correct. Porto - Stockholm Skavsta has ceased operations. This was announced very early after the route had been launched. It seems that it wasn't profitable enough, and being such a long flight (3.5 hours in the air) that is a vital point! I am sad to see it go, but there will definitively be new routes out of Skavsta soon.

Thank you very much for your answer! Do you have any ideas about what routes FR will start from Stockholm/Skavsta and when? I hope they will start flying to Brussels again!

Well there are a number of routes with potential. But at the moment I have no knowledge of plans to expand the Skavsta Base in the winter period. You never know what Michael O'Leary will come up with. One or two new Routes are always possible. The Skavsta-Grenoble Route will definitively reopen in December (Ski Route).
