Toothpaste? Is it allowed Empty Toothpaste? Is it allowed

Post by williemak Thu 3 May 2012 - 19:20

I am aware of the restrictions on liquids etc, and the reasons for them, so I am not moaning.

However, if I buy toothpaste after security, but before boarding, will I be allowed to take it on board the plane? I ask because I am getting on and need the stuff for sensetive teeth, and I am not sure how available it will be in Greece!

Thank you

After security, you can buy and take on board any liquid, paste or solid you want (inside the allowed limits of weight and size of the hand baggage).

I've been taking toothpaste on all of my 20 Ryanair-flights without any problems. So you can even buy before your toothpaste in advance, before getting to the airport, pass security with it and take it on board. Max 100ml per liquid and a total of 1 liter is allowed in a reclosable bag.

Toothpaste is fine, as long as it doesn't contain anymore than 100 ml, I've being taking it in my plastic bag ever since they introduced these stupid regulations.
