For my best tour ever I've paid only € 3,10 for CIA » GRO + GRO » TRN + BGY » CIA [...just € 1,00 about for each flight purchased 2 weeks before Christmas].

Uh Always I purchase my flights paying the reservation only by Visa Electron.
In Italy, for example, it's possible to buy a prepaid Visa Electron card just for € 5,00 [...with € 5,00 of credit inside] without having to open bank accounts or something similar.
It's possible that you cannot find something like this prepaid card in your country

Re: Lowest fare
In Poland it's little bit different. For example I have my own Electron card, but paying by internet is inactive. To do this I have a different card connected with the same bank account, and it's simple VISA. So, I was booking using VISA first, but now I'm asking my friend to put some money on her Electron and booking.
It's strange, because she has bank account and Electron which is inactive in net pay. She activated it first and when she needs to pay by net, she has to put some money into special like a subaccount which is connected only with her Electron.
Prepaids would be wonderful idea :-)

Re: Lowest fare
It's not so hard in my bank. I just use my electron card normally which i used to pay while shopping. have no a different card and subaccount. Just this one. The only one thing which i got to do is to call a bank phone centre and determine amount of money which I need to buy a ticket. Just in case of security because electron + your adress is the only one thing you need to book a flight.

You can use a Prepaid Visa Electron like http://www.entropay.com.
Make sure the card is in GPB (Pounds)!

The link up explain the function of my prepaid Electron CC...that it's similar to entropay CC.
Using Pre-paid CC it's not required to pay any commission for purchase something; it can be re-charged simply by Internet [...it's used the same way to charge mobiles credit] and it's possible to use it in any country in the world, just paying a little commission for make normal operations.

Re: Lowest fare
A very long time ago. Around 2000 (not 100% sure) I went 5 to Brussels for 50p. 5 again to Milan Bergamo for around £3. 5 again to Belfast for £1. And 4 to Girona for £5.
Apart from that, it has always been cheaper than BA or Sleazyjet.

Re: Lowest fare
I once even flew abolutely for free. Approximately 10 years ago, there was a strike at Dublin airport. Ryanair had to cancel a lot of flights for some days. But apparentely the unions and the airport reached an egreement quicker than expected, and Ryanair could fly again. With empty planes, as all the passengers had made other arrangements.
A mail was sent out to regular customers (or people who were on their mailing list) that free tickets were available for those who could book immediately to fly the next day. I made a return trip for € 0,00.

Re: Lowest fare
My cheapest are...
East Mids - Dublin, £00.2 return,
East Mids - Pisa, £2.00 return,
East Mids - Prague, £2.00 return,
& Liverpool - Faro, £2.00 return.
I always stand in the queue and look at everyone else wondering how much they paid...
