Not quite 80 M ...
http://www.ryanair.com/en/news/ryanair-december-traffic-up-2-percent
4,84 million pax in December make 79,6 million for the full year 2012 (+ 4% on 2011).
Not far from 80 million - that will hopefully be reached next year.
Load factor was 82%, same as last year.

Re: Not quite 80 M ...
But 2013 will be the last year with growth, FR will have no more than max. 81,5 million with the current fleet of 305 planes. FR simply need more planes to grow, and delivery time for new 738s and 320s is now around 8½ year, and MOL is not particularly popular in both Toulouse or Seattle, so no special conditions either.

Re: Not quite 80 M ...
First deliveries of C919s is expected in 2016, and I am sure, the Chinese Goverment will not allow COMAC to deliver any planes to foreign airlines incl. Ryanair before the C919 is 99% without problems, and that can take years to prove. So any new deliveries of any kind of planes (A, B or C) to FR is at least 6 - 9 years from now. So MOL is placed between a rock and a hard place.

Nope the interior is not "up" to FR standard, they planes don't come with those nice blue and yellow seats and interior, and the seats can recline too!

I hope MOL is not stripping out the WIFI of the norwegian planes, so we can write to the ryanair fanforum up in the air But I expect MOL will charge us for using internet

You can use the FREE wifi ONLY in the toilet area which will cost €5 per 2 minutes but you get a FREE flush, Wifi with overly comfy seats and the additional (recliners) cannot mean lowcost travel, it seems many airlines whom are struggling at this time use these facilities and cannot compete with low cost carriers... maybe they should all have RYR interiors and count the €profit at the end of the financial year. A (MOL) clone to run that airline unfortunately will cost First class prices.

Re: Not quite 80 M ...
FRs Average fleet age now is 4,4 years in 4 years it will be 8,4 years before FR can expect new deliveries, and many planes will at that time be over 10 years (about 80 planes), it will be very hard to keep tight rotations as ultra low cost model requires with that old planes, remember older planes need more service and maintenance (extra cost).

4-8 years old aircraft are a young fleet within the industry-I predict they will beat last years figures even though the reported figs to-date are highly respectable.

Yes FR will reach a maximum of 81,5 million pax, provided FR don't sell any planes and they keep the 305 planes they have now, and that is impressive anyway, that is an average of 267.000 pax / 738 / year a very high number in the aviation industry.
