200 new Boeing ?
http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/ryanair-in-talks-with-boeing-for-200-new-planes-3347205.html
January 9, 2013.
Michael O'Leary said Ryanair is in the market for about 200 new planes as the low-cost airline's fleet is poised to reach 300 Boeing 737-800 jets later this year.
Ryanair is in talks with Boeing, he added during a press conference in Oslo.
"Boeing have plenty of availability in the order book," Mr O'leary said. "We are in the fairly early stages of talks to see if we can reach an agreement on price."
Mr O'Leary said that Ryanair is looking for deliveries in 2015, 2016 and 2017 – the year that Boeing's upgraded 737 Max jetliner is due to enter service.
The Ryanair boss said that a new order was possible this year to help expand passenger numbers to 120 million.

Re: 200 new Boeing ?
I really doubt FR can expect deliveries of new planes from Boeing already in 2015, 16 or 17, the backlog is simply to high, and higher yielding customers than FR have already placed huge orders!

Re: 200 new Boeing ?
The situation is very different to the time after 9/11, where MOL could pull Boeing around when FR ordered the last time, now Boeing got their books full of orders for next 7 - 9 years. Remember many already copied MOL / FR strategy of ordering big quantities of planes, just to name a few: Lion Air, Norwegian, Air Asia , Southwest and many more, so Boeing or Airbus are not that impressed with FR "big" orders anymore, to say it least. And the last order from FR did not give that much food to Boeing!

Food was buffet style
If that was true - Boeing have their principles all wrong - a customer is a customer, especially a expanding customer.

Re: 200 new Boeing ?
No seller will spit on a 200 aircraft order, which is a very big order by any standard.
It's just business !
