FR passes 80 M pax in a year.

This will be the story tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. FR passes the 80 M pax. a year level.

Unfortunately, the 80M mark missed - by 0,1 !

Ryanair today (3 July) released passenger and load factor stats for June 2013, with its monthly traffic increasing by 170,000 (up 2%) to 7.96m passengers over June 2012. Ryanair’s rolling 12-month traffic to June 2013 rose by 4% to a record 79.9m passengers.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:
Ryanair’s traffic increased by 2% over June 2012, despite the recent French ATC strike, where up to 90,000 Ryanair passengers were affected and over 500 flights were cancelled.

MOL must be terribly disappointed, with only 2% growth in June?

This time, at last, the 80 million mark is reached and passed : 80,1 million pax carried in the year ending 31 July 2013.
But only 1% more pax in July 2013 on July 2012.

With only 1% increase in the month of July, I am pretty sure MOL is disappointed, and FR will
have hard times reaching 81 million with this fleet, remember FR will return quit a few planes back to leasing companies this financial year, and FR will not receive any new ones before 2015!
