Advertising on RYR planes ?
Ryanair is selling advertising space on the outside of its planes.
Rates for advertising on the 303 aircraft start from as little as €20,000 (£17,250) per annum, and there are a range of options available - including four different spaces on the plane's livery.
Planes will continue to have Ryanair’s logo on the tail fin but companies can buy advertising on other parts of its aircraft, including the tips of the wings and the main body of the plane.
Kiely claimed the response to Ryanair's advertising offer had been 'overwhelming', adding: 'We have had huge interest from across Europe and beyond.'
Kiely explained: 'We're continuing to pioneer ancillary revenue, which means we can lower our costs and in turn lower our airfares, meaning we'll continue to carry more international passengers than any other airline.'
One wouldn’t expect the revenue from this to be huge, but it’s another increment on the bottom line.
In the year to March 31, Ryanair's ancillary revenues climbed to €1.1bn (947m), a fifth of its total operating revenues.

Re: Advertising on RYR planes ?
Why not? More cash in the bank "Air billboards" have been used in the past - Example 'Lord Of The Rings' on a Air New Zealand.

Re: Advertising on RYR planes ?
Beautiful !
Exciting possibilities offered to the pub specialists to exercise their imagination.
It will bring a welcome change in the RYR fleet, whose uniformity was getting a bit dull.
Good news for the spotters, too !

Re: Advertising on RYR planes ?
The prices of advertising on Ryanair aircraft can be found page 118 of the in-flight magazine for september 2013.
On a per month basis :
- Fuselage back : from 5.900 euros
- Fuselage back and front door : from 8.400 euros
- Full fuselage : from 20.800 euros
(surprisingly enough, the model RYR 737 displayed alongside the tarifs sports four engines !)
