Baggage question Empty Baggage question

Post by randomasker Fri 2 May 2014 - 14:20

I know there is alot of info about baggage in rayanair but I still confused Sad

My question is:
I have only 1 bag for travel, and his weight is 25kg.
So can I buy the option  2 checked-in bags of 15kg + 15kg, and convine the weight in 1 bag? or I'm forced to bring 2 bags of 15kg max?

In this link is saying that pooling is allowed, but only between friends ?

I'm confused someone had the same problem?

Hi, you cannot Have 1 bag weighing 30kg, (maybe Health and Safety for Baggage Handlers).
You will need to purchase 2 bags each at 15kgs.
Or 1 bag at 15kgs and use the free hand/cabin luggage 10kg to make up your original 25kgs.
Or 1 bag at 20kgs and use the free hand/cabin luggage 10kg to make up 30kgs.

Each passenger may check in up to two checked bags upon payment of the applicable checked baggage fees by electing to purchase a checked baggage allowance of either 15 kilos or 20 kilos.

Hope this helps.
