I have noticed on planespotters.net that it shows Ryanair have got an unregistered and stored 737-700. It is 16 years old. Does anyone know what is going on with this?
Thanks.

I don't think this site is too accurate: http://www.planespotters.net/Airline/Ryanair
Because they don't have 6 on order.
The -700 says it has been delivered in 2015??? http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/search.php?manufacturer=Boeing&subtype=737-700&fleet=1952&fleetStatus=2
Maybe they use it as an extra, but I don't believe so because with such a big fleet and the new income of new aircraft they surely have surplus.
I think they still have 270 to be delivered. (100 of them are MAX200) , correct me if I'm wrong.

If you want good info on their fleet, I use this site: http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/ryanair-ryr/
Its great, because you see their airplanes currently in sky.
And you can see the new delivered aircraft. Newest one currently is EI-FIL (it's still in Seattle)

I don't understand because EI-FIG is one of the newest ones, newest registered but it still has the old livery?

It might have been re-registered. Is there even a new livery? Perhaps its just minor painting errors?

Cheers!

I guess the livery has changed!
EI-FIK 2nd newest one, taken in this pic on the 15th May, has the new livery.
The blue seems to have gon darker, much darker?

It seems they do have one. Why?
Here is a picture of the plane in an uncompleted paint scheme

Yes its used for training.
http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/ei-sev/
It flies from EMA, just where the East-Midlands Ryanair training center is.
Used for pilots only I think.
