327 EUROS Ryanair FLIGHT!!!
I can't believe this.
I was looking for flights to BRI,
the one departing on 31st October costs 245.99 Euros.
What is this?
+ Return on November 7th +80.99 Euros.
Total cost of trim 327 Euros + Credit card fee
= 333 Euros.
Alitalia, for the same dates costs 191 Euros with 1 scale @ FCO.
It's got a 20kg luggage at least.
And that is 150 Euros less... why?
Crazy,
Can some one explain?
What is wrong with Ryanair?
Because it doesn't seem it's 'low cost' anymore....
Best!

Re: 327 EUROS Ryanair FLIGHT!!!
Hello.
I remember seeing this on a documetary about Ryanair pricing.
It said that FR use an average flight and compare the amount of seats sold so far with the amount of seats they target to sell to ensure that the flight can sell seats. If too little people book a seat against the target FR will reduce the fair to sell the seats and if they sell too many they will increase the price to slow sales.
I could imagine that as so many people seem to fly with FR now people just blindly assume that they are going to be the cheapest. When increasingly they are no longer. It is a shame
I could not find the clip. I have a feeling I saw this on a BBC programme what I think was called Flights in Flights inside the low cost airline. It was on about 2 - 3 years ago.
Hope this helps
Cheers.

Re: 327 EUROS Ryanair FLIGHT!!!
Yes It must be something like that. Too much demand for that flight o that date. But it was still more expensive than AZ, now the way back on FR has increased to 96.99Euros. So the total cost If I were to purchase with FR would be 360euros.
I will try to find the documentary it seems interesting.
Still i cannot understand how a flight to BRI is 245.99 one way. How can all of the seats be sold???

Here is a link to it. It was called Flights and Fights inside the low cost airline.
It focused on EZY and FR. This was before AGB
(Sorry it was not on youtube)
All the best
