Going though security

hello all

first time flying with ryanair from Manchester to Rome and also first time with a titanium hip replacement , my question is do i inform anyone prior or just go though and explain what i had done if the buzzer/alarm goes off ? appreciate any advice.

hi again , on the outbound flight (Manchester) i had a full body scan and explained what the object was straight away and passed though with no problem , at Ciampino airport (Rome) it didn't even pick it up. can i just say we had a delay outbound (not sure) and a delay on return (french air traffic strike) but apart from that we really couldn't see why so many people complain about ryanairs service we will defiantly fly again with ryanair
