Some Ryanair 737 have at least the starboard engine partially painted in blue, like this one seen today at Cork :
Why is that ?
Most of the aircraft are like this one :

Re: Color scheme
The engine cowlings on the FR 737's with the old livery are blue, so they just mounted a cowling intended to be used on old livery aircrafts on the new livery aircraft instead. That is the reason.

These arrows are rare as well. As I understand they are painted at all new aircrafts.

No. Those 'arrows' are on all 737's and most aircraft of this size. They're intended to 'guide' passengers (as if they need it) when they use the over-wing emergency exits. Like I said, most people are competent enough not to need the arrows, but judging by some of the people I've shared flights with before I suppose there are always certain individuals .

Re: Color scheme
Hi - I don't see the aircraft very often but I did notice in Dublin yesterday that -DCL has got the original Dreamliner coloured winglet on the port side and a full Ryanair coloured one on the starboard side. I wonder what happened ???? JK
