Is this the future of low cost air travel?

Would you buy a Ruinair 'All You Can Fly' Pass which allows you to travel anywhere for 30 days for $600? it would be a bit like the All You Can Eat Buffet for €10 - ideal for binge flyers!

Jet Blue has just introduced this in the USA. Jet Blue Customers who purchased the pass can choose from 57 cities and more than 600 daily flights.

About the Jet Blue Pass:
$599 for a month of unlimited travel, any available seat
Domestic taxes and fees included - this could be an issue for FR
Travel Dates: Tuesday, September 8, 2009 through Thursday, October 8, 2009
Each flight must be booked no later than 11:59 p.m. MDT three days prior to the flight's scheduled departure.
Nonrefundable/nontransferable/no name changes permitted

Well, I wont. First of all $600 for 30 days is too much in FR standards I guess. OK, if luggage would be included, then yes - I'd take whole month of holiday and go off across Europe. Other way it would be too expensive especially for customer traveling from small destination (very small opportunity to get to some city just for few hours of fun and back).

Quite a lot of conditions and restrictions put by JetBlue, for instance :
In the case of a no-show, the customer's pass will be placed on hold, any reserved pass flights will be canceled, and no new flight segments will be able to be booked until the customer pays a $100 no-show penalty.

Nonetheless an interesting idea.
Three days before the flight, the Ryanair prices usually are pretty high, and one could soon make up for the 600 dollars !
Of course, the whole thing (price, conditions of booking, etc) would have to be adapted to Ryanair, but : why not ?
