This topic is about everything from Airport Weeze, also known as Niederrhein, in Germany, Ryanair called it 'Düsseldorf' because Düsseldorf lies approximately 70 kilometers from the city.

On the website, www.airport-weeze.de, you can choose between English, German and Dutch language. At the homepage you see the available desatinations from Weeze, Ryanair has the most because they have a hub at Weeze.

The airport is quite small, there is one, newly-build terminalbuilding with shops, cafés, departure/arrival tv's and more. Parkingcosts can be seen on http://www.airport-weeze.de/2-2_parken.php?lang=en

The airport can be reached by car and by bus. There is a direct busline from/to Amsterdam, Arnhem, Brühl, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen, Goch, Kevelaer, Cologne, Moers, Nijmegen, Utrecht, Venray and Weeze.
By car you can go for more information to the page 'Location and approach', http://www.airport-weeze.de/2-1_lage_u_anfahrt.php?lang=en. At the airport you can hire cars, taxies and limousines with driver. The parkingcosts can be seen on http://www.airport-weeze.de/2-2_parken.php?lang=en

There are also numerous hotels in the neighbour. See http://www.airport-weeze.de/2-6_hotels_in_flughafennaehe.php?lang=en.

For more iformation about the airport itself, see www.airportweeze.de and/or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airport_Weeze. At the airport's site you can view pictures of the airport, the construction, people, aircraft and more.

Great airport with a lovely bar with viewing area. Worst thing and possibly only negative thing is the bus service to Düssldorf. €14 for a single is extortionate and the €18 return is only available if you're flying back the next day. Rip off charges for a 50min journey. My bus ticket nearby always costs more than my plane ticket here.
