VRN : VERONA - Villafranca - Valerio Catullo (Italy)
Verona is a very beautiful city located in the Veneto region, in northern Italy.
With Brescia, they are sometimes called "the Garda airports", as they are both near the Garda lake.

Runway :
04/22 - 3070 m
Terminals :
Since may 2, 2012, there is again only one terminal for the departures (ex-T1) and one for the arrivals (ex-T2).
At the departure terminal, there are the usual check-in desks, security and boarding gates at ground level, plus a good number of shops. On the upper floor : at the left the chapel and a self-service restaurant; at the right a bar with a good view on the apron and the runway.
There is a waiting room at each gate, large enough to hold the whole passenger load of the flight.
The boarding pass and the identification are checked at the entry, the passengers enters (no facility like toilets or drinks here), wait for the boarding to begin and go to the bus/aircraft by just showing the boarding pass.
Transportation :
A good bus service links the airport to the Verona main railway station (Verona Porta Nuova); one way ticket is sold on board for 6 euros (dec '11)), severy 20 minutes, and it's a 15 minutes drive. At the railway station (Porta Nuova), tickets are sold at the "tabacchi" inside.
