World's favourite airline !

Ryanair today (29th June) celebrated IATA confirmation that it is the world’s favourite airline after IATA stats for 2010 showed Ryanair carried more international passengers than any other airline. Ryanair carried 71.2m international passengers last year, almost 30m more than second placed Lufthansa (44.6m) and almost 10m more than easyjet (37m) and British Airways (26m) combined.

Does this mean those who complain for petty reasons or in alot of cases moaners that cannot read the terms and conditions, again return and fly Ryanair flights once more Ryanair must be doing something right.

Southwest are doing well ... they were very good teachers

Now, there is something I don't understand in those IATA statistics for Ryanair :

International passengers : 71.229.000

International + Domestic pax : 71.229.000

In other words, Ryanair has not carried any pax on domestic flights ?
Which seems strange, as Ryanair fly a lot of domestic flights - in Great-Britain, Italy, Spain ....
Even if you count domestic flights by a foreign carrier as "international" flights - Ryanair fly a pure domestic line : Dublin-Cork, with quite a few thousands pax per year ...
Could somebody explain ?

I am not sure i see your point.. non Domestic but international. looks like the Ryanair figures are general and not in relation to a specific category.

As I see it :

Ryanair passengers, in thousands :
(a) International = 71,229
(b) International + Domestic = 71,229

It seems that, mathematically, (b) - (a) gives :
Domestic = 0

Where do I err ?
