Last summer i tried to get our money back (in cae of illness), but the ryanair offered travel insurance AXA only sent me back some forms, gave me a claim number and this was the last answer.
Because its only a post box in london, telefon contacts were not possible. Mails remained to be unanswered.
My case is still open, now i will try to post in several forums and find people who can help.
