Transportation :
The airport is about 5 km to the north of Perpignan.
There used to be a shuttle from the railway station to the airport, but it is cancelled at the moment (march 2012).
Bus n°7 Cabestany-Peyrestortes stops at Place de Catalogne/corner of Boulevard Clémenceau and right in front of the airport terminal; it runs every half hour; the ticket costs 1,10 euro and is sold by the driver. It takes about 15 /20 minutes.

Airport :
It's an old airport, dating back to the Aéropostale and Mermoz time, when it was well known as Perpignan-Llabanère.
The terminal is more modern, of course, but still rather small.
Landside : a bookshop, a café, the check-in and drop-desks.
Airside : the boarding hall and gates, and nothing else (save for vending machines with soft drinks); no view to outside and the apron.

Not far away, a "corrosion corner" with four Boeing 727 in a sorry state (march 2012) : 5T-CLP Air Mauritanie, N359PA (corporate, ex-Pan American) - and two without reg.
On the other side of the airfield, the hangar of EAS, with a few aircraft parked on the side.
