To 80 M pax 2012 ?
Ryanair traffic grows 5% in November, to 4,91 million pax (from 4,68 in November 2011).
Which brings the total to 79,6 million pax in the last twelve months.

I doubt they will reach 80 M but very close, remember it is booked and paid tickets, not actual pax.
But FR reached a total of 300 738s in their fleet on December 3rd 2012.

unsure what the fleet has to do with it, but very good figures all the same.

The growth in PAX, is somehow related to the size of the fleet, or am I wrong?

Its bums on seats that create these figures and cheap deals - i am sure FR could fly just as many pax but with a few less planes... i think they will beat this record in 2013.

FR will soon reach the 80 M mark, in the FR definition of PAX!
Depending on how many planes they park this winter, though!*)
But from the figures today, my estimate is they did not park that many planes this winter as last winter, otherwise they would have negative numbers like last November (2011)*), and the reason for that, pure speculation!
Is FR don't expect some real players within the industry going down the drain, like FR expected last year, so FR don't want to loose on their own business waiting on the tarmac to replace an airline somewhere which against the odds survives.

Re: To 80 M pax 2012 ?
I predict at least one European carrier/airline will unfortunately cease to operate in 2013, but in business that will be a gain for another and looking at the potential of Ryanair i don't see them taking off for the last time soon.
But still i think FR will beat the 80M pax figures in 12 months time.

Yes for sure FR will cross the 80 M mark in 2013, but I am not sure FR will reach the 81 M mark *), unless they soon order some more planes, they only have 3 deliveries left, probably arriving next week, and remember 5 planes already reached 10 years of age and more at that age in 2013 (16 planes ), a high age for a lcc plane , and especially for so called ultra low cost carrier.
*) Since I expect FR to dispose a few planes in 2013.
