Checked baggage - 22kg + 13kg
Hi,
I booked 2 checked suitcases - 1 for 20kg and another one for 15. My question is: can you have one that weighs 22kg and the other one 13 (so that it still adds up to 35 kg)? I know you can do that with American Airlines so I assume with Ryanair as well?
Another question: let's say your item weighs 15.600 kg, do they make you pay extra because it's a bit more than 15.000?
Thanks!

15+20 max.
Hello,
Unfortunately ryanair is very precise when weighing bags.
You can't carry more than the purchased maximum amount in one bag. I know it sounds stupid, because its the same for the aircraft.
And yes, normally they will make you pay 13 Euros per extra kilogram. (I think, It may be even more)
Merry Christmas
Have a nice trip

Re: Checked baggage - 22kg + 13kg
Thanks a lot for your answer! If my suitcase weights 20.6kg instead of 20, will they still make me pay extra or do you pay the extra charge only if it's heavier than 20.999kg?
Sorry for the silly question
Merry Christmas to you too!

I don't really know aabg1989,
What is sure is that you will have to pay per extra kg you have above 20kg.
Knowing Ryanair, I suppose that yes you have to pay extra charge even if its 20.6.
This much depends on airports (handling agency), they are the ones who are in charge of ground operations.. check in, baggage desks, counters...
I was once at BRI and they made such a hassle because my cabin bag was 10.8 instead of the max. 10 allowed.
Regards,
