REU: Reus, Barcelona-Reus (Spain)
I'll be there next week. Will arrive at 11.45 pm, and I probable try to get to Tarragona city and back after 2 hours. I have early flight next day, so will use airport hostel in hall, or somewhere else there In this way I'm looking for some reflections about good place to lay down my tired (4 flights in one day) bones, or how to get fast and safely to Tarragona, optionaly Reus.
I do my own update after I come back :-)

Re: REU: Reus, Barcelona-Reus (Spain)
Well,
I've spent about 11 hours there, and unfortunately most of this time
at the airport. I arrived at time, about 11.45 pm. I went to tourist
information desk to ask how can I get myself to Reus or Tarragona.
The only answer I've got was that I can't. Then this lady moved
herself out as she was finishing her shift. I thought to myself,
well, that's kind of behaviour I wasn't expecting, but I also
sometimes was rude for my customers while I was working at Dublin
Airport So I checked by myself and there really was no possibility
to get by public transport. First bus was departing at 0815 am, and
last one at 0900 pm. Keep it in mind especially if you have very
early or late flights! Strange, because in every airport there is all
around the clock bus service, or unless they're waiting till the last
passenger. So I didn't get an opportunity to see Reus or Tarragona
neither.
The airport itself is at it's renovation time. Departures
hall is huge, shiny and modern. When I saw this lights, I reminded
myself my job in Dublin airport. After we opened new food court,
there was similar lights and many ppl was overreacting on specific
micro climate of that place, several cases of lose of consciousness
including Hopefully there is much much more space and less smells
as well
I spent my night at present arrivals hall. There are
few seat places, very comfortable. You don't have to try hard to lay
your tired bones down all over and fall asleep. This place is not a
popular hostel yet, as there was less than 10 ppl sleeping with me.
Not literally of course The best thing was, that after every staff
member finished it's shift, somebody has almost switched the lights
off. Perfect conditions to good sleep :-)
There also is some small
restaurant at the landside, and two duty free shops at the airside.
One of them also has some hot food and snacks/donats... As far as I
was looking, there is no energy plug at the landside area. Toilets
has some things to correct, but it's better than in Bergamo at night
For photo lovers, there is no possibility to take a picture
outside the landside area. Staff is really paying attention on that,
and even on Santander (I was flying from there to Reus) the Cabin
Crew member told me, that I must delete every picture of his plane
I've taken. 16 airports so far and I haven't met that strong
restrictions

The picture about the timetable of local buses is smart.

Re: REU: Reus, Barcelona-Reus (Spain)
they will also reduce their flight numbers . Paris BVA is now on several times a week instead of 7 days a week . Like Girona Paris BVA to GRO from 3 flight a day to Twice daily .
Why FR would drop flights like that ? Paris to both destinations a still quite busy ????

Hi All
I am back from the trip via Reus Airport. This is confirm that you can actually spend the night at the Reus Airport, no one will ask you to leave the airport building after mid night . The chairs may not be most comfortable but you can spend few hours there instead of paying for a hotel if you only fews hours of stop over time.
