Re: LIL: Lille Lesquin (France)
it's sad that Lille is close to Charlerois because Lille has the Potential for a Ryanair Base .
I heard Paris BVA will be a Base after the Airport has done the modifications .

Re: LIL: Lille Lesquin (France)
I saw that many flights from Lille to MRS are in free option and was thinking how can I get there from Charleroi which I have direct connection with. Does anybody know if there is any bus/train/coach connection between that two airports? It may be my only possibility to get to french base at the moment.

No there isn't direct bus or train connection between Charleroi.
You have to take a bus from Charleroi airport to Charleroi South train station , a train to Lille Flandres train station and another bus to Lille Airport.
You can take too the bus from Charleroi aiport to Brussels Midi train station , a TGV or Eurostar to Lille Europe Station and a bus to Lille airport.
There was a direct bus line between Lille and Charleroi Airport but it closed three months ago !
I have a question : A flight beween Lille and Pisa will be announced tomorrow evening. Do you think Ryanair will open the flight ?

Thanks touinou - helpfull information :-) Another question is if you know how much would that travel (CRL - Charleroi Train Station - Lille Flandres - LIL) costs me? Just more or less :-)
And BTW, Lille - PSA could even be better for me than Lille - MRS

Re: LIL: Lille Lesquin (France)
You're welcome
CRL - Charleroi Train Station - Lille Flandres - LIL costs about 25 € : 2.50€ (CRL-Charleroi Station) +18.40€ (Charleroi Station-Lilles Flandres) + 5€ (Lille Flandres-LIL).
I know there is a woman at the Lille Airport information desk who speaks polish fluently because she worked before at the Centralwings desk.

Re: LIL: Lille Lesquin (France)
Yes, Centralwings wanted to open it's base there. Probable because they were trying to open PL-Lille and Lille-Barcelona connections, but as everything in Centralwings, this idea has also collapsed
Thanks for help once again!

Re: LIL: Lille Lesquin (France)
Yesterday, I had my first flight from Lille Lesquin. Quite a pleasant and friendly airport !
The car park is just in front of the terminal, at ground level. Departure and Arrival are at the level + 2.
Ryanair flights don't make use of the air bridges, and thus the boarding gate is at ground level.
From the terminal, a very good view on the apron and the runway.
At the moment (winter 2009-2010), Ryanair fly from Lille to Marseille (MRS, twice daily) and Porto (OPO, on tuesday, thursday, saturday).
Less flights in the winter season 2011-2012 : one daily flight to MRS (1 to 7), two weekly flights to OPO (3 and 7).
