M.O.L said at the Farnborough Airshow that Ryanair are looking to order the 189 seat Airbus A320neo for the next round of orders from 2019 to 2025. They are also looking at the MAX 8 which Boeing has announced they will make it a 199 seated aircraft. Ryanair have been asking for extra seats on the B738 but said it would be nice to have a few Airbus's in the fleet. But many sources now think that as the MAX 8 will have 199 seats they could have lower seat fairs than if they were too operate the A320neo. But it will only depend on the cost.

Ryanair's first of the 189 B737-800's on order has been christened EI-FEE. It has taken its first flight.
