Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
Some aircraft have now three letters code on the nose wheel flaps (instead of two letters as usual).
Seen it yesterday on EI-EVE and EI-ESR:
(sorry, much fog yesterday at CRL !)

Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
EI-EVN on 6 april 2012.
According to my source :
http://www.jethros.org.uk/fleets/fleet_listings/ryanair_in_service.htm
all aircraft before EI-DAC (in alphabetical order) have left the Ryanair fleet.
EI-DAC was delivered on 3 december 2002. It means that all Ryanair aircraft are less than 10 years old.

Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
Ryanair has confirmed it will now take delivery of its final batch of Boeing 737-800s secured under a record 100-aircraft order placed back in 2002.
A total of 11 new 737s are due for delivery by early 2013 from Boeing's US assembly plant.
Deputy chief executive Michael Cawley confirmed that negotiations about a new order are underway -- though the airline refused to reveal if the talks involve the giant US aircraft manufacturer or their bitter rivals Airbus.

Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
A very good news !
Let's hope that the deal will be signed in a matter of weeks, as expected.
Most or all of the planes would likely be current generation 737s rather than the upcoming Max upgrade, which would allow Ryanair to secure a significant discount on the list price, two of the sources said on Wednesday.
A large order of current generation 737s would help Boeing ensure no fall in production as customers hold out for the Max, scheduled to enter service in 2017.
A deal would be a boost for Boeing as it seeks to sort out problems with its new 787 airliner.
Clever !

Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
Yes he is smart, MOL will probably walk away with a nice discount (+50%), the only problem is when will the first deliveries be made?
Just to keep the momentum in growth?

Re: New Aircraft Deliveries
Found posted on www.luchtzak.be :
Latest rumours are that together with introducing the new crew uniforms the new aircrafts which will start arriving in October/November 2014 will have all the "yellow" elements removed from the cabin and will be fitted with Boeing's Sky Interior.
