I have just tried to make a booking and mine doesn't work either !
I suppose we'll have to wait a bit until it gets righted somehow - anyway, no use to try and contact somebody before Chrismas is over ...

I had the same prob with mine so i rang their res line and it was accepted there.

I don't know in Ireland, but here the call to the reservation line costs 1 euro per minute, si I guess it would be less expensive to use a normal Visa !
Anyway, something is wrong somewhere, I'll try and find somebody that can make it work as before - but better wait until after the New Year, when work is back to normal at Wirecard and at Ryanair.

Have the same problem, but calling the Reservation centre was no use - they said it wont work on phone also and asked me to contact the mastercard company. Yesterday I had contacted mywirecard, they said its a known issue and they are investigating, but have no idea when it gets fixed. Sent them an email also asking to alert me when it is indeed fixed, but no reply so far. Meanwhile that cheap flight I was eyeing has now vanished.. grrr !

Same for me : have sent an e-mail to Wirecard, no answer.
And missed a cheap flight into the bargain.
At least, they are aware of the problem and they work on it ...
What use a Wirecard if it doesn't work with Ryanair ??

The problems with payments at this mercahnt is known to Wirecard and we are
trying to find out that the problem might be. However we can confirm that it
is not a prolems with Wirecard.

However, we would like to keep you as our customer. If you wish to close your
account because you are not satisfied with our service, please let us know.

wow they took ages to send this totally useless reply ! Sad that even after resuming from the new year break this issue remains unsolved. Obviously they will just point the finger at each other. There goes 1 convenient way to avoid the ryanair fees. I already decided to purchase my ticket by paying the fees, so now I wont knoe if and when this issue does get resolved. Neteller the other option charges 7.5 eur for outbound money transfer to bank which is a dealbreaker for me..

Update: It now works ! It now works !

Just completed a purchase using mywirecard and magically it went through ! At least some consolation that I saved few bucks on fees, compared to the several I lost while waiting for this to be fixed...

I can confirm : just made an FR booking, the Wirecard works !
Still, it's annoying : will it break down again, and just when one needs it ?
