EI-DCL : missed !
Yesterday, I was to take the morning flight Charleroi-Budapest.
I saw with relish that the aircraft arriving from BUD was the EI-DCL, well known for its special Boeing colors.
I had flown only once on that aircraft, a long time ago, I was thus happy to fly it again.
We were awaiting at the gate the go ahead to board, it was taking more time than usual; we were then told that the aircraft had a defect and that we had to wait some 20 minutes for the reserve aircraft to be made ready.
Indeed, we climbed aboard EI-DAI, which still neded to be de-iced - and we departed some 40 minutes late ...
The captain told us that EI-DCL had a water tube frozen and thus no water available on bord ... ???
And with that de-icing fluid all over, no picture possible - a pity, as there was snow all over central Europe and beautiful landscapes below.

Re: EI-DCL : missed !
EI-DCL is based at Pisa airport since March 3rd, I'm making a round trip BVA/PSA/BVA on March 7th/8th, I hope it will be my lucky day.
(I have already missed it when it was based in STN and CRL, but PSA is a smaller base).

Re: EI-DCL : missed !
I should fly with DCL tonight on BVA/PSA, unless there is an aircraft change or a base change. The usual routing of the aircraft on the BVA/PSA route on Thursdays is PSA/BDS/PSA/TPS/PSA/BRI/PSA/BVA/PSA and today DCL has started PSA/BDS/PSA/TPS.
I will be extremely unlucky if there is an aircraft change.

To RYRaddict : I think you ended up on -DYX, which is disappointing. It is never very nice when you have your heart set on something and it doesn't work out. Your luck will change and we look forward to hearing about it !

Re: EI-DCL : missed !
Yes I missed the Dreamliner : DYX on the BVA/PSA leg (I don't know why, but DCL only flew PSA/BDS/PSA/TPS/PSA that day and DYX continued with PSA/BRI/PSA/BVA/PSA. The way back yesterday was operated by DLY.
By the way it was my 50th Ryanair flight.
