Ryanair does not close the door on Airbus and the A320 Neo ... if prices are lowered

Three weeks after the announcement of a giant Boeing 737 order, MOL has recognized the advantages of its competitor, the A320 NEO but it is considered just too expensive.

"We will buy the day their Airbus aircraft would be cheaper than Boeing." After the announcement on March 19, an order of 175 Boeing 737-800 available over five years to a catalogue price of $ 15.6 billion (12 billion euros), the CEO of Ryanair Michael O ' Leary outlined a growth strategy that did not exclude, after 2018, the use of a fleet of A320 NEO. "Airbus has been very successful with its aircraft. They did not need Ryanair because they have hundreds of orders for the NEO, with other carriers. Ryanair have a long-term relationship with Boeing, but if Airbus came to see us with us a lower price, we would buy". Ryanair will have in 2018 a total fleet of 400.
