737MAX ? Empty 737MAX ?

Ryanair said a team that it set up to evaluate Boeing's 737 Max model will report back by the end of September, paving the way for an order that might run to more than 200 of the narrow-body planes.
Ryanair is looking to seal terms, including price, by the end of this year as it seeks to swell the fleet to more than 500 aircraft, chief executive Michael O'Leary said after concluding a deal for 175 current-model 737-800s.
While Airbus SAS's A320neo is still in the running as Ryanair seeks to add re-engined single-aisle aircraft, the Boeing model has an advantage because it offers nine more seats, O'Leary said yesterday at the Paris Air Show.
A deal for 200 737-800 Max planes would be worth $20bn at the list price of $100.5m per aircraft.
The order confirmed on Tuesday – first announced in March – has a sticker value of $15.6bn. Mr O'Leary said that the discount he achieved wasn't as big as for the last contract in 2005.
Mr O'Leary said that Ryanair will continue to push Boeing to develop a narrow-body with 199 or so seats, which he says would be a sweetspot for discount carriers dictated by the fact that regulations require one flight attendant per 50 passengers.
Redesigned interior architecture that might include fewer toilets in planes to be deployed on the shortest routes could help facilitate the change, he said.

Extract :

The 737 MAX is designed to have 189 seats, but Ryanair has for some time sought a capacity “sweet spot” of 200 seats, which would allow it to continue to staff an aircraft with four cabin crew.

Speaking in London, Ryanair deputy CEO Howard Millar said Boeing would be exploring various options to find the extra space.
Removing toilets—a long-mooted Ryanair solution to finding more space for seats—is one such option, although he was conscious of passenger comfort and did not want to have lengthy queues for a single toilet at the front of the aircraft.
He also ruled out reducing seat pitch below the current 30-in. level, saying this would have a seriously detrimental effect on habitability.

Ryanair has 175 737-800s on order. Delivery timescales mean that none of these would be converted to MAX models, Millar said.
