Sports equipment question

We have a group booking of 8 people including 1 item of sports equipment (golf clubs) allocated to each passenger. One lad has dropped out. The cost of the of booking a new flight is £110 so thats the cheaper option than paying the name change fee (£110 each way). If he was to book a new flight, can we still take all 8 sports equipment as paid for on the original booking despite having one lad not turn up for the flight? Thanks in advance
