Why Paris BVA is not a Ryanair Base ?

I juste wondered why Paris BVA is not a Ryanair Base and there is a lots of Flights from there to several countries .

Does Pars Beauvais doesnt have that much Parking Spaces for a Ryanair Aircraft sitting at the airport . The Local region and airport is glad to have Ryanair as they promote Ryanair everywhere in the Airport and in the area .

Its' quite easy. Beauvais is a very unsecure airport concerning fog in the winter season. A lot of flights get cancelled already now and with flights leaving around 06.00 or 06.30 this would be even worse! The second point is the space, as you mentioned. There are not very many aircraft stands and the terminal has only four gates. Also the check-in area and the security screening point do not have much space at all.
Paris Beauvais will never be a Ryanair base! Mark my words! But it has potential for a lot of destinations and Ryanair is still expanding, adding Alghero, Cagliari, Trapani and Bologna to its network next spring.

I also think it's not yet a base because of the french labour laws, FR's hade some issues with the MRS base (read on internet)

interesting BVA will get a brand new Terminal by 2010 !

Well… as I see CRL has many cancelled flights now because of
fog. And I’m quite sure it became a FR base after some few researching in case
of weather etc…


I see also other places to be a FR base as Porto, or some airport
in Poland
(many flights).

Anyone know of other ways to get from Beauvais to Paris? Found this article
