Re: What about a meeting?
Hi Steve and the rest!
It's a great idea and I was about to book a flight, when I saw that the Steve had to work. Let's try another date Steve and I will be there! My holiday starts on the 10th of July, but no later than 28th of July because I'm off to Peru/Ecuador for a month then....not with Ryanair of course!

Re: What about a meeting?
In that case, I could manage the 15th (at a push, but can do, going to Pisa on the 16th at 6am-ish!), 22nd or 23rd of July, within those dates. Peru and Ecuador sounds lovely, just wish I could have a chance to do something like that!
Up to everyone who wants a little trip to STN......
On the 15th July, if people travel over early morning, then thats no problem if their next flight home is 6am next morning, I'm normally up all night for my trip to Pisa on the 16th, I know a few bars and cheap ways to get to the airport, to aid with that!
The offer is open to everyone.

Re: What about a meeting?
Hm... south america isn't very expensive at the moment. I saw few offers by Lufthansa, Air Asia or other airlines which can get you to Delhi, both americas, Singapore, Thailand or other places on even for eastern europeans attractive prices! It's almost impossible to do some savings at this damn crisis

Re: What about a meeting?
Steve, so the 15th July it is? Than I'll book the flight and the first Ryanair Fanclub Members meeting day will be a fact!
Amnesia,
You're right...it's not that expensive. First we''ll fly to New York with Swiss Airlines and then to Lima (via Costa Rica/ El Salvador) with TACA. You got plans this summer?

Re: What about a meeting?
15th July it is by the look of it. I will be there! Seeing as I live close by
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! But if anyone is staying overnight and getting an early flight home on the 16th, I will have to go home for an hour at some point to get my passport, bag and boarding cards for my flight on the 16th to Pisa at 6-ish the following morning, but I will leave you in good company whilst I do this. Well a pub that is frequented by crew anyway! Hope you don't mind that.

Re: What about a meeting?
Good to hear it Grad, not sure off the top of my head what time the Pisa flight goes but it is 06- something.
Trust me Ruinair, you would love our crew at STN, no Lynch mob's over here, from what I saw tonight!
Anyway, must run got a flight to Krakow in 3 hours and 10 mins, so gotta go catch my taxi ( stupid roadworks have messed up the early morning bus!)

Re: What about a meeting?
Grad: No plans for now. My girlfriend will have a holiday in sept and if we finish our studies/exam sessions in july, there will be some opportunity to fly somewhere. I'm thinking about Alicante to make some "thanks" to FR for opening this route
No plans for longer trips now. Have to start a work and earn some money first ;P

Re: What about a meeting?
Could anyone coming over to Stansted on the 15th July and intending to meet up, please send me a personal message, just wanting to know numbers, but also, due to work problems (we are verging on going on strike!) I will have to work a night shift on the 14th, which doesn't finish until 8am on the 15th.
As such, although I was hoping to be up at the airport at 9am to meet people, this has now had to change. Will explain more in a personal message, but I will need a little sleep due to my flight at 6-ish am on the 16th to Pisa.
Don't worry we will still be visiting FR crew haunts

Well, haven't found any interesting ticket, so without me this time Let's try HHN, NYO or CRL next time - plenty of cheap tickets from my destination

Re: What about a meeting?
I had a great day with Grad, it's such a shame everyone I know, wanted something done in one way or another, which spoilt the evening slightly, but Grad should currently be at the airport awaiting his flight back to Eindhoven in the morning, about 15 minutes after my flight to Pisa. We should be having breakfast in about an hours time!
Thanks Grad! Although it's been a bit of strange day for me as you know, it's been such a good time to chat Ryanair, even when my friend turned up after his day trip to Girona late tonight!

Re: What about a meeting?
It was a very nice day and a brilliant tour by stevestrac! Thanks! ( I even saw the driveway of the Beckhams....) A lot of Ryanair talk, fish & chips, Pinguin biscuits, Salt & Vinegar Crisps and a lot of beers! That's a perfect wednesday! And if anyone wants to visit London in the future, don't.....Bishop's Stortford is the place to be!
Next time will probably be at Dublin and everybody should be there!

I totally agree with you! Bishops Stortford rocks!! A great shopping mall and pub "Black Lion", lovely little town, Your's to enjoy if you survive the ride on bus 3B from Stansted.
