Has Ryanair changed your life? Empty Has Ryanair changed your life?

Before my addiction to these low fares I barely flew once a year. In just over a year I have on average flown twice every month to new destinations for as little as 2p return.
Two weeks ago I was in Malaga for 2 days (in between work)), last Monday I was in Malaga again and I had paid as little as £16 return, next week I'm off to Olso again (£16 return) but this time I have my HD camcorder.
I may need to consider a prepaid mastercard since I'm no longer getting the benefits with my Visa Electron.

Ryanair have just published more low '£3' fares, so it is likely I'll be off again in June. It seems more than just an addiction, my skin tone suggests I take a break from it.
I've Explored Olso, Sweden, Ireland, N Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Poland, Sardinia, Italy, Spain and Portugal in just over a year. On some occasions it was just a day visit thanks to Stansted's frequent sectors.

I'm now living near Ryanair's Liverpool / Leeds base and yet I still find myself wanting to purchase more low fares.

The only negativity from this is that my appreciation for airtravel has reduced, I walk through the airport at a pace and I delay in getting to the airport.
On one occasion I found myself in Frankfurt wondering what the hell I was doing there, I just bought lunch, walked around and headed back to Hahhn.
It didn't bother me because I knew I could headback there with just the change I had in my pocket.

Unsually I do find myself defending Ryanair heavily, and wish that other passenegers would appreciate just how many 8AS they have in their fleet (230+ and growing)!!!!!

Ryanair arranges my weekends and gives me some purpose in doing the job I have to do. Has Ryanair changed your life? Icon_biggrin

What has it done for you?

Has Ryanair changed your life? Empty Re: Has Ryanair changed your life?

Ryanair has actually changed my life as well. Before my first Ryanair flight (in 1999) I just flew for work and occasionally for a holiday. But as soon as Ryanair arrived in Charleroi, and especially since it became a base, I have visited cities that I would have never visited without FR. As soon as a seat sale is announced, I take my diary and I book.

Cities that are often on sale and that are definitely worth a visit are Bergamo (yes, Bergamo and not Milan), Bratislava, Valencia (flights to Reus are often on sale. From there it is a 3 hours drive), Stockholm and Treviso. Porto is also highly recommended! (Take a chance to visit Coimbra and Guimaraes as well)

Cities that I have explored so fare are London (10x), Stockholm (3x), Milan and Bergamo (10x or so), Barcelona, Girona, Valencia, Pisa and Florence, Venice, Bratislava, Carcassonne, Manchester (via Liverpool), Shannon and Galway, Dublin, Glasgow (2x) , Madrid (3x), Porto and Alghero.

My next day trips are London (8. June) and Berlin (24. June). My holiday in august will be spent in Morocco with an outbound flight to Fez and a return from Marrakesh.

Many, many more trips to come I hope.

Exactly the same for me !
Ryanair has most certainly changed my life, by allowing me to fly much more frequently (I am no millionnaire) and visit a number of cities that I would never have seen without FR, because of the high cost of flights on the other carriers.
I have visited most of the cities in northern Italy that can be reached from Torino, Bergamo, Bologna, Forli, Trieste or Treviso; also Rome and surrounding area; also Pisa, Brindisi, Alghero, soon Bari ... Also Spain including Tenerife, Ireland, England, Stockholm, southern France ... Many happy memories, and beautiful sights seen !
I began by one flight per month, then two, and now one almost every week (by personal choice, I do only day return trips).
I think that Ryanair really is a "bienfaiteur de l'humanité" as we say in French - a benefactor for the humanity. And I mean it.

I think that this post could be put on Ryanair's homepage! Smile
you really made me think about it, i discovered Ryanair short time ago and I often regret on the time and the opportunities I had lost! Oh, if only I started traveling with them two or three years ago, at the golden age of 0.01€ tickets and free checked-in baggage! Smile
but now I'm trying to recover the time I had lost, taking avery chance to fly cheap from a small non-base airport (Venice-Treviso), visiting cities I didn't ever think I would have see... I went to Malta two days ago (out wed night, return thu afternoon Smile), I'm going to Bruxelles in June, and I'm planning a Reus-Santander-Madrid spanish tour for this summer. Definitely I think Ryanair is changing my life, and I often think about all the people who don't understand, who says that's not safety, who says that's a fool going to malta and come back in 12h... will they ever understand what they're missing? Thank you Ryanair for let me see new places in this world, you're right atoutprix, they're benefactor for humanity!
