Same gate everytime?
Hi, first time poster here.
I took my first flight with Ryanair this Sept to Alicante from East midlands, and loved it. So much so I'm going back again in December. My question is do they always use the same gates everytime for the same routes?
The only reason I ask is that they only put the gate number up on the monitor at East midlands airport, literally 15 mins before the plane was due to take off. I was only at the gate before everyone else as I had asked a Ryanair employee from another gate that was boarding if she knew which was my gate for Alicante. As a result I got extra leg room seats
Thanks all.

Re: Same gate everytime?
All gates are subjected to change last minute. So don't assume it will be at the same gate. It is easier at STN as most flights go from gates 40-59 (Especially base flights with the exception of PIK and BHD).

Re: Same gate everytime?
Gates 1-5 at EMA can be a bit hard to find, (turn right at the shoppuing area), I had the same problem the first time I used the airport.
At STN never assume that just because it's an international flight that it's going from the right hand pier (gates 40-59). I made this mistake when going to Katowice one morning, and had to go like three men and a wee lad to reach gate 81 (in the middle, "Domestic" pier )
On my most recent flight out of STN (to BHD) the Bremen plane was leaving from gate 87, just next to us.
