Re: FR cabin crew :)
I wonder why you ask that question - are you a cabin crew ? or a future FR pax anxious to know how he will be handled ?
Anyway, as a rather frequent FR customer, I can say I have the highest opinion of the Ryanair cabin crews (same as I have of Ryanair on the whole).
They are congenial, polite of course, helpful, very professional (no compromise on safety); they work quite hard, their job is not easy, it's tiring, and they keep doing it perfectly. I must have met 2 or 300 different ones, and I have yet to find one who'd be unpleasant.

Re: FR cabin crew :)
I know few Cabin crew personally
they are generally nice but sometimes overworked and underpaid
so if you're buying sth on board give them few quids as a tip - they really got poor salaries and FR is even cutting them their commissions so they're earning less and less month by month

I have never heard of giving a tip to a cabin crew ! If I were one of them, I wouldn't like it - not being a waiter in a café or a taxi driver !

you can't even imagine how huge smile it causes
They got 10% from the sales onboard (divided between them). But recently FR cuts their commissions and some of them receives almost nothing. They start to stop to care of the sales as they got almost nothing from it.
Just imagine - average customer spent on FR flights is ca 1,5EUR
with load factor 70% total bar on 1 flight is ca 200E
in average FR crew flight 60 flights per month
Total sale on those 60 flights is than 12.000 EUR
It means commission should be 1.200 E divided between 4 staff = 300E...
and how it looks like in real life?
FR cuts their commission due to "discrepancies in bars" and is cutting collectivelly (everyone gets hurt) - so crew member receives 50-100 E for their effort to sell onboard (being pushed to sell tickets, gifts, etc)
would you like to work in such conditions?

Well, as I see, Ryanair is cheap company, so they’re trying
to safe on everything possible. I used to work for SSP at Dublin Airport
and I know how does company deals with it’s workers. I expect almost the same
with FR and it’s crew, so I expect from them nothing, but know security
regulations etc. BTW, MOL said one day, that FR is like a public transport. This
company is exactly like this for me, so I don’t expect any luxury, drinks, smiled
cabin crew or whatever. But it’s nice to see them smiling, I remember then that
in SSP even in hard summer time, complete chaos made by our managers,
overworked and underpaid we’ve found our own work system and reasons to came
back and work again – together :-)

Re: FR cabin crew :)
my friends seem to think that because ryanair are cheap you are expected to met by crew with a fag in their mouth and have a real bad attitude
but what i've seen is that the ryanair crew still keep up the same professional standard of any other airline
if anything they are so much better than monarch or thomas cook

Re: FR cabin crew :)
Hi!
I have flown quite a lot with Ryanair and I have never had any complaints about the cabin crew. They are always smiling and cheerful! They are also very good at demonstrating the safety procedures and life jackets - almost with military precision! I actually enjoy that bit too!
Best Wishes,
Tom
