Pre- booking seats
Hello
Firstly - can you pre book seats from Stansted to Palma?
Secondly - can you do it on "managing my booking" cant see a link for it, only for priority boarding. Or do I have to call them?
Thanks for any help

Re: Pre- booking seats
http://www.ryanair.com/en/terms-and-conditions#regulations-reservedseating
The option to reserve a seat is available on all Ryanair flights
A reserved seat in row 2 and (emergency exit) rows 1, 16 & 17 can be purchased in advance online or at a call centre for £10/€10 per one way flight. Reserved seats cannot be purchased at the airport. The priority boarding service is included in the above Reserved Seat fee
When checking-in online, you will be offered the opportunity to reserve a seat.

Re: Pre- booking seats
Thanks for replying. I did see those terms and conditions but couldnt work out a way of reserving seats online before checking in. So does that you mean you have to wait until you check in 15 days before your flight to reserve a seat, or can I do it earlier?

Re: Pre- booking seats
You can reserve a seat when making the booking, at the second page :
Reserved Seating
Please check box if one or more passengers wishes to reserve seats.
The reserved seating service costs €10/£10 each way (€15/€15 on longer routes e.g. to/from Canary Islands) and is available to book on Ryanair.com both at the time of flight booking and when checking-in online.

Re: Pre- booking seats
I have never pre - booked a seat to date, but I guess the seat number will be on your boarding pass.

I think that there is a sign "reserved" on those seats, but I don't think that the passenger's name is on it.
Next week, for the first time, I'm going to fly on a reserved seat : I'll tell you how it is exactly.
(Of course, the passengers with a reserved seat are entitled to go in the priority queue at the boarding gate)

Re: Pre- booking seats
I have never seen a reserved seat sign on the seat/s for pre booked passengers when I have boarded... but have seen passengers directed to those seats once they have handed the crew their boarding passes, However I have seen reserved signs in the past for pax with a disability.
Surely the reserved seat number is printed on the boarding pass... which will also allow you to board at your leisure. But remember boarding at your leisure may mean you have no over head storage for you luggage... if only that space came with the reserved seat price ...

Re: Pre- booking seats
In the early days of the reserved seating system they placed papers with the text 'Reserved' on the seats. Later they left out these papers. Near the seats is an FA overseeing the boarding procedure. This FA checks whether you have a boarding pass with the appropriate seat#.

Re: Pre- booking seats
That's right.
No more "reserved" on the seats, just the flight attendant pointing out the reserved seat to the passenger.
