Swedish Umeå is very close to an agreement with Ryanair, not signed yet - but it's still possible the flights would start in March.

Ryanair allegedly has the intention to take control of Peruvian Airlines, Peru, for $ 50 million.
According to Cesar Catano, owner of Peruvian Airlines, Ryanair is in advanced negotiations to control 65% of the Peruvian company, which is the most that is allowed by the Peruvian government. The amount of the acquisition, expected to be completed by 15 November, would amount to $ 50 million.
Peruvian Airlines, founded in November 2007, suspended its operations for 90 days on August 19 this year due to inadequate security, but was able to resume some of these roads August 27 to Arequipa, Iquitos, Tucno before recovery services to Cusco September 23, 2011. It owns 16% of the Peruvian domestic market with a fleet of 14 aircraft 10 Boeing 737-200, 3 Boeing 737-300 and a Boeing 737-500 acquired from Star Peru, US Airways, Avianca Brasil.

Press conference tomorrow at Leeds Bradford airport (3rd November). Maybe some new routes will be announced with perhaps one more aircraft based for summer 2012

Jep, is true. CRL en STN year-round. AGP en GRO are summer seasonal

The Finnish Civil Aviation Administration (Finavia) said flights from Turku to airports near London and to Charleroi in Belgium would start in April, with summer services to Barcelona and Malaga to be launched later next year.

Hi please forgive me if i have posted in the wrong section,i'm a newbie,but i heard that from April ryanair are canceling flights from dublin to alicante ,has anyone else heard this as i have googled the net and can't find any info regarding this. many thanks .

According to a correspondent on PPRuNe :

No base in Riga for the time beeing, but a reduction of 30% in the number of flights, and end of flights to Charleroi, Bremen, and Tampere.

The decision comes after the introduction of new security fees at Riga International Airport (said to be about 6,5 to 7 euros per pax).

According to someone else on PPRUNE, it is not the flight to Charleroi that will be ended, but the flight to Bristol. I guess we will have to wait a few more days for confirmation.

As a matter of fact, the flights Brussels CRL to Riga are still bookable, even for the next summer schedules ...
