Ryanair to introduce two routes from Zadar, Croatia to Denmark and UK In 2012



From next year, Ryanair introduces two more routes to Croatia, Zadar airport. Thus, from 2nd July 2012. Europe's largest low cost airline connects Zadar with East Midlands airport, which is located near Nottingham in Great Britain.



The line will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays until the end of summer 2012.



From 24th March 2012., another line to Croatia connects Zadar and Billund airport, which is located near the famous Legoland in Denmark twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with the aircraft taking off from Billund in the morning, and from Zadar in the early afternoon.



This is the third Ryanair's seasonal line announced in the last two months, and tenth route from Zadar airport.



During summer season, Ryanair also flies from Osijek, Rijeka and Pula and from 2012, it also introduces two new routes from Rijeka (Kvarner region). Thus, except for flights to London (Stansted) and Stockholm, this low-cost airline is interested in the introduction of lines to Oslo and Frankufur or Brussels.

Tomorrow press conference at Alicante, followed by a press conference at Palma de Mallorca, according to PPrune: "MOL will personally announce the upcoming major developments in Son Sant Joan Airport for summer 2012. Possibly a new base."

Ryanair may begin flights to Ukraine in May.
The first flights will probably link France and the U.K to Ukraine’s western city of Lviv and eastern city of Donetsk.

Which means:
Ryanair said the new bases in her network did well this winter. In march/april, five more bases will be opened (Baden Baden, Billund, Palma, Paphos en Wroclaw). Ryanair will reveal a new base shortly, which will open for this summer.

WMI (its new code for Modlin) was requested by FR to pay for basing a/c there....

W6 moves planes to WMI without cash received - saves only on lower airport charges. (WMI ceaper than WAW)

No space for FR in WMI. W6 will deliver 1 MM pax yearly and WMI initial capacity will be ca 1,5 MM pax

Now Ryanair may need to look for Lublin - Swidnik airport launch to have base "close" to WAW

Ryanair is in negociations with CLJ (Cluj-Napoca Airport [Transylvania , Romania]) and TGM (Targu-Mures Airport [Transylvania , Romania]) for this autumn .
Distance between those cities is 100 km and TGM is offering the lowest price per passenger meanwhile CLJ is offering more passagers [CLJ is the second city in Romania]
TGM has make an offer of 0.95 euro/person , CLJ ten times higher .
