Beauvais to Tenerife
Hello,
I'll go to Tenerife from Beauvais next summer (july). The tickets booking is now available but i'd like to know if it's better to buy it now (10 months before departure) or to wait. Will the price rise or fall ? Normal price for a BVA-TFS is 39.99€ with Ryanair and today it's 59.99€...
Any people already experienced a so early purchase ?
Thanks in advance !

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
It is always a gamble fares cannot be predicted, but if i was booking the ticket for myself i would take the gamble and start looking to purchase 8-10 weeks constantly before my due travel date.
It will depend on the individual and their needs also flights can change some added or some axed.
regards.

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Thank you very much.
It's too early in my opinion also so i'll wait a few months more.
Can i trust Ryanair when the site show "only two tickets left" or this kind of warning ? (it's not the case already of course).

I once happened to buy the alleged "last ticket at that price" - and then, looking for the same flight out of pure curiosity, the price had indeed been raised.

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
I recently purchased flights to Faro, original price £17.99 10 weeks before departure... i booked them very reasonable.
About 2 weeks later the last 2 seats appeared for the same price i paid, they must have been purchased because the last seat offer has not been seen since, However a week after the seat offer the price went down to £14.99 which lasted for almost a week. Prices are all over the place there is no set time really to buy... simply have a budget or go for the gamble.

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Price is still rising... Now it's 79.99€.
Last travel i did i didn't pay the taxes but a few day after the tickets were with taxes. Why there's no taxes somedays and a few days after or before there 's taxes ?

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Some flights temporarily are in promotion and are tax-free and/or without online check-in fee for instance. Those reduced fares don't last for long.

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Price is still rising. Direct flight from Paris to TFS with Ryanair is now merely at the same price as flying with Iberia. It's a bit weird...

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Ryanair prices are very sensitive to low/high season. For the summer holiday period, the prices tend to go up and never come down. For low season it is very difficult to predict and booking becomes a bit of a gamble.
It is like buying something in Egypt: pay the price you think is OK and then be happy with it.

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
I feel that, on the whole, FR prices have been raised.
There used to be very cheap tickets : 6 euros, 3 euros or even less (0,99 !) - now, promotional fares are advertised at 9,99 or even 14.99 euros, even in winter.
Of course, it's still good bargains at these prices - but it shows that prices are clearly on the rise.
To say nothing of the costs of checked baggages, which are not cheap and also often raised ...

Re: Beauvais to Tenerife
Today price is reduced from 79.99€ to 39.99€ so i bought a one-way ticket. Just like someone from Ryanair readed our messages at Ryanair Fanclub forum ! I'll wait a bit for return ticket cos it's still too expensive.
There is no price difference if you buy one-way or return ticket with Ryanair.
