Can't check in for return flight

Hey guys iam a 16 year old boy trying to help his dad out whos going on holiday on the 26th October and coming back on the 1st November. As it is the 23rd of October when writing this both of the flights are within the 14 day check in. But we can only seem to be able to get the going to flight as the return flight just doesn't show up. The flight is from East midlands to tenerife south. Please help.
